Thriving in Family Life

A One Day Mindfulness and Meditation Retreat for Parents and Children

Practicing mindfulness has many benefits for our health, well-being and family relationships. We make healthier connections when we are fully present with each other and are able to respond calmly and skilfully to challenging situations.

Parents will have the opportunity to participate in very simple yet profound practical meditation techniques that will draw upon your inner resources of resiliency and the capacity to bring about meaningful change with courage and strength. The day includes soothing methods to relax and calm the nervous system helping it recover from the ups and downs of everyday life. The children’s program will include playful engagement in meaningful art, co-operative games, stories, mindful movement and meditation.

Children and parents will be attending separate programs.

We look forward to having you join us for this very special community event.
