Mother's Day can be a difficult time for those who have lost their own mom. To help celebrate the parents we love and have lost join Meaningful Passages on Sunday, May 7th from 2-4 pm at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area (Stacey Meadow Pavilion) for a secular ceremony honouring mothers who are no longer here and easing the grief that may be left in their wake.

Conservation Authority Special Event parking fee is only $5. On-site porta-potty. Covered pavilion in case of inclement weather.

Donations-only event, with proceeds going to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.

Guests are invited to bring a baked good that their mother loved to bake or eat, which will be shared with everyone in attendance.

Come Join us for our Annual Festive Potluck Dinner

You are invited to join us for our festive potluck dinner on Friday, December 11th from 6-9 pm at East Plains United Church for delicious food, sharing with friends old and new and a heartfelt good time in celebration of the season!

Please bring a friend and a favourite dish to share! We have use of the church kitchen and can keep dishes warm or cold if necessary. As ‘many hands make light work’, please let us know by Dec 9 if you are able to help with set up and/or clean up for our festive dinner. Thank you!

This year as a follow-up to Venerable Robina Courtin's public talk and workshop on ‘Happy Living Happy Dying’ (November 27-29) we have chosen to support our local Carpenter Hospice.*
